The NIA After School program at CWC Crown Heights offers students a diverse cultural experience that combines learning and fun. In our third year, students wrote pen pal letters and made new friends with children of diverse backgrounds in other parts of Brooklyn, learned Brazilian music and dance, and had visits from jazz and classical musicians and digital/visual artists.

NIA at CWC offers homework help, snack, Spanish, art, music, dance, drama and physical education to students at Citizens of the World Charter School-Crown Heights. Our fee-based program runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM.

We are located at 791 Empire Boulevard, Brooklyn, on the 4th floor. If you’d like to register your child for the NIA/CWC program, please contact our NIA Director Jibrail Nor at Jibrail.nor@cwc-newyork.org or by phone at (347) 628-8263.
